HYROX COACH
Overview
We are looking for a positive, inclusive, and motivated HYROX Coach to join our amazing team at Infinite Gym (Official HYROX Training Club and Official Deadly Dozen Affiliate). As we continue to grow during an exciting period of expansion, we’re looking for someone who shares our passion for community-focused fitness and is eager to grow with us. This role is ideal for a self-employed coach looking to make a real impact and build a future within a supportive and dynamic team environment.
Duties
- Deliver high-quality HYROX-focused classes in line with Infinite Gym’s standards and ethos.
- Support and motivate members of all fitness levels through tailored programming and expert guidance.
- Educate athletes on HYROX movement standards, techniques, and race-day strategy.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive environment that fosters progress, confidence, and community.
- Monitor athlete progress and provide constructive, personalised feedback.
- Collaborate with the coaching team to ensure consistency and quality across all classes.
- Ensure a safe and supportive training space by following all health and safety protocols.
- Contribute to the development of the HYROX programme as the gym and role grow.
- Be flexible and open to supporting additional duties as required to meet the needs of the community, gym and team.
Requirements
- Experience in coaching functional fitness, hybrid training, or HYROX is essential.
- Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are required. Candidates must hold one or more of the following (or an equivalent):
HYROX Level 1 Coach
HYROX Group Instructor
CrossFit Level 1, 2, or 3
British Weightlifting Level 1, 2, 3.- A strong understanding of HYROX movement standards and event structure.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others improve.
- A welcoming, encouraging coaching style that reflects our inclusive community values.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends, as needed.

This role is ideal for a self-employed coach who’s ready to make a meaningful impact, lead with purpose, and be part of a supportive and dynamic coaching team. While this role will involve leading a variety of classes - including our Daily Workouts, HYROX sessions, and Olympic weightlifting - it’s about more than just coaching; it’s about helping people move better, grow stronger, and feel like they belong.

- Support and motivate members of all fitness levels through expert guidance and tailored instruction.
- Educate athletes on proper movement patterns, training techniques, and event preparation when applicable.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment where members feel safe, supported, and empowered.
- Monitor member progress and provide constructive, individualised feedback.
- Collaborate with the coaching team to maintain consistency and continually improve our offerings.
- Uphold health and safety standards to ensure a safe training environment.
- Contribute ideas and energy to the development of programmes and the wider gym community.
- Be flexible and open to supporting additional duties as required to meet the needs of the community, gym and team.
